As a Quality Assurance Specialist within our General Insurance Claims team, you’ll play a key role in helping us deliver exceptional outcomes for customers by ensuring claims decisions, processes and practices meet the highest standards of quality, compliance and customer care. Working across a diverse claims’ portfolio, you’ll use your expertise to identify opportunities for improvement, influence better outcomes and strengthen technical excellence across the business.

 

Reporting to the Claims Quality Assurance Manager – GI and Life, you’ll partner with leaders and stakeholders to provide valuable insights that drive continuous improvement, support risk management and enhance the customer experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a visible impact while contributing to Zurich’s ongoing transformation and commitment to quality.

 

You will also be responsible for the following:

 

  • Conduct quality assurance reviews across General Insurance claims portfolios to assess compliance, consistency and customer outcomes
  • Analyse trends and quality insights to identify improvement opportunities and reduce recurring issues
  • Build strong relationships with claims leaders and stakeholders to influence quality outcomes and uplift capability
  • Support governance activities by identifying regulatory risks and contributing to remediation initiatives
  • Prepare and present quality reporting, findings and recommendations to leadership and governance forums • Contribute to training, coaching and continuous improvement initiatives across claims teams

You’re a naturally curious and collaborative professional who enjoys using data, insights and stakeholder relationships to create positive change. You bring a balanced approach, combining strong attention to detail with the confidence to influence, challenge constructively and support others to achieve better outcomes

To be successful, you will have the following:

  • Experience working within the insurance industry, ideally with a strong focus on claims
  • Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, auditing, governance or senior claims roles
  • Strong knowledge of General Insurance claims processes and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent analytical, reporting and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven ability to engage, influence and build effective stakeholder relationships across multiple levels
  • Relevant industry qualifications such as ANZIIF or equivalent will be highly regarded
