As a Senior Claims Advisor - Financial Lines, you’ll play a key role in shaping a strong technical claims culture within our Complex Claims team. Your work will directly support our customers when it matters most, ensuring claims are managed with care, clarity, and expertise.

 

This role will see you partner closely with both internal stakeholders and the wider market, helping to strengthen Zurich’s position as a trusted leader in Financial Lines claims through thoughtful decision-making and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent outcomes.

 

You will also be responsible for the following:

 

  • Managing Financial Lines claims from notification through to resolution, including complex coverage considerations.
  • Acting as the key technical referral point for Financial Lines claims.
  • Partnering with legal vendors to ensure best practice and efficient claim strategies.
  • Ensuring all claims activities meet Zurich’s governance, policy, and compliance standard.
  • Overseeing large loss portfolios and contribute to Financial Lines strategy and technical discussions.
  • Building strong working relationships with brokers, customers, and other stakeholders

In order to be successful, you will have the following:

 

  • Extensive Financial Lines claims experience, ideally managing complex matters.
  • Legal experience or a law degree will be an advantage and is valued in this role.
  • Strong technical capability with the ability to interpret policies and provide sound guidance.
  • Experience building relationships with brokers, customers, and legal partners.
  • Proven ability to work with governance frameworks and manage compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to coach or support others on technical issues
