As Senior Manager, Regulatory Engagement & Investigations, you’ll play a pivotal role in protecting Zurich Australia’s reputation and strengthening our relationships with regulators. Sitting within Governance and Regulatory Services, this role exists to lead complex regulatory responses and investigations with confidence, clarity and care.

 

You’ll be trusted to independently manage highprofile matters, guide senior stakeholders, and ensure our responses are accurate, timely and aligned to our values. Your impact will be felt across the business, helping Zurich meet regulatory expectations while continuing our digital and governance transformation.

 

You will also be responsible for the following:

 

  • Leading end-to-end regulatory responses, including investigations, prudential reviews and formal information requests
  • Acting as the central point of contact with regulators
  • Coordinating large, cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, evidence-based regulatory submissions
  • Overseeing ediscovery activities to ensure data integrity, security and compliance
  • Managing multiple concurrent regulatory projects to agreed timelines, quality standards and outcomes
  • Driving continuous improvement in regulatory response processes and ways of working

You’re a calm, credible and collaborative leader who thrives in complex environments. You build trust quickly, communicate with clarity, and bring a considered, solutions-focused approach when it matters most.

 

In order to be successful, you will have the following:

  • Significant experience delivering complex regulatory investigations and responses within financial services
  • Deep knowledge of Australian insurance regulation and regulatory bodies such as ASIC and APRA
  • Proven capability leading large, multistakeholder projects with fixed deadlines
  • Hands-on experience with ediscovery or investigation platforms and managing external providers
  • Strong expertise in drafting highquality regulatory submissions and executive-level briefings
  • A background in compliance, legal, risk or governance, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications
