Join our Strategic Brokers & Internationals team as a Strategic Broker Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in strengthening Zurich’s most important broker partnerships while supporting profitable and sustainable growth across our General Insurance portfolio. Working closely with the Strategic Broker Management team, this role helps shape broker strategy through insight, data and strong commercial acumen, ensuring Zurich’s value proposition is clearly understood and consistently delivered.
This is an exciting time to join Zurich as we continue our technology transformation and invest in becoming Australia’s Leading Digital Insurer. In this role, you will help translate data, insights and broker feedback into meaningful actions, supporting smarter decision making, improved broker experiences and stronger outcomes for our customers and partners.
You will also be responsible for the following:
- Supporting the development and management of strategic broker and AR group relationships to drive profitable growth.
- Analysing broker portfolios, share of wallet and performance trends to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
- Coordinating the creation, execution and monitoring of Strategic Broker Agreements and key initiatives.
- Collaborating with underwriting, claims, risk engineering, marketing and state teams to ensure aligned delivery to market.
- Preparing and presenting broker performance reporting, insights and executive materials for senior stakeholders.
- Managing selected strategic broker relationships and contributing to broker engagement and capability initiatives.

You are a commercially minded insurance professional who enjoys working with data, relationships and strategy in equal measure, and who is motivated by contributing to meaningful change in a digitally evolving organisation.
In order to be successful, you will have the following:
- Experience in the commercial insurance market, with a strong understanding of underwriting, portfolio management and intermediary distribution.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and translate insights into practical strategies and actions.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
- Strong reporting, presentation and systems capability, with confidence working in data led environments.
- Experience executing strategic initiatives and supporting long term broker or partner relationships.
- A continuous learning mindset, with an openness to change and a genuine interest in digital and business transformation.
