It’s important to know, what you do matters. At Zurich, we don’t just cover, we care.
Join Zurich at a pivotal point in our transformation as we strengthen how strategic investments are prioritised, governed and measured across the enterprise. Reporting into the Strategic Execution function, this senior leadership role provides the visibility, insight and challenge needed to help executives make informed decisions on where we invest, how we deliver, and the value we create for customers, colleagues and shareholders. The role exists to establish a trusted enterprise view of strategy execution, investment performance, delivery confidence, organisational capacity and value realisation.
Working across Product, Strategy, Finance, Data, Technology and Delivery, you will shape how portfolio information is connected, interpreted and translated into meaningful executive insight. You will influence enterprise-wide prioritisation, improve transparency, strengthen OKR and value tracking, and ensure senior leaders have the clarity needed to navigate trade-offs, risks and opportunities in a fast-changing environment.
You will also be responsible for the following:
- Creating a trusted enterprise view of strategic portfolio performance across investment, delivery, risk, capacity, dependencies and value realisation
- Leading executive portfolio insights that translate complex delivery, financial and workforce data into actionable recommendations
- Strengthening enterprise visibility of OKRs, benefits realisation, value at risk and strategic outcomes across major initiatives
- Acting as the business owner for portfolio management practices, governance rhythms and Atlassian-enabled ways of working
- Partnering with Product, Strategy and Finance leaders to inform investment decisions, prioritisation outcomes and portfolio trade-offs
- Providing enterprise-wide visibility of capacity pressures, execution constraints and critical cross-functional dependencies
- Supporting executive forums, quarterly planning cycles and Board-ready reporting while maintaining continuity across strategic execution activities as required
Internally we call this role a Strategic Execution Lead - Portfolio Insights & Value.
