Join Zurich Insurance as a Systems Analyst / Senior Technical Business Analyst in our Group Life – Corporate Team. In this role, you’ll combine technical expertise and business analysis skills to enhance our global Corporate Life and Pension (CLP) systems and related platforms. You’ll work closely with international teams to deliver agile solutions that support Zurich’s digital transformation and customer-focused growth.

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Bridge Business and Technology: Collaborate with stakeholders to capture, analyse, and document functional and non-functional requirements. Translate these into clear technical specifications for development teams.
  • Define and Deliver Solutions: Help shape requirements through user stories, conduct impact assessments, and ensure alignment with system architecture.
  • Drive Technical Enhancements: Work on the Workbench for the corporate book, admin systems, and interfaces. Define system interfaces.
  • Agile Delivery: Partner with the Product Owner to prioritize backlog, manage MVPs, and track timeframes. Support sprints and QA testing to ensure quality delivery.
  • Global Collaboration: Interface with European program managers, Bas, development teams and stakeholders.
  • Support Implementation: Participate in application testing, configuration, and user training to ensure successful adoption.
  • Promote Innovation: Incorporate AI and automation into solutions and encourage best practices in agile and technical analysis.

 

Important to your success – let’s grow together

 

  • 6+ years in project delivery, including 4+ years as a technical business or systems analyst.
  • Strong technical background in software development and systems analysis.
  • SQL proficiency required; ability to write queries and analyse data.
  • Experience with JIRA and agile frameworks.
  • Ability to run workshops and facilitate discussions between business and technical teams.
  • International experience—comfortable working across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Insurance or financial services experience preferred; life insurance experience highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of APIs and data integration; able to document and explain system interfaces.
  • Familiarity with React for new user interface development is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to engage stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and self-driven—capable of working independently or as part of a dynamic team.
  • Flexibility to work across global time zones, including evening meetings (European hours), with options to adjust start and finish times.
