You’ll play a pivotal role in our digital evolution, working at the forefront of AI engineering and product delivery. You will also be responsible for the following:

• Leading a cross-functional product team, collaborating closely with product managers and designers to explore opportunities, generate ideas, and deliver innovative solutions.
• Prototyping and experimenting, building rapid, lightweight prototypes to validate assumptions and de-risk delivery.
• Driving end-to-end delivery, ensuring a clear connection between what we build and the business problems we solve.
• Championing engineering best practices, coding standards, and continuous improvement to build scalable, highly available systems.
• Taking accountability for system reliability, security, and compliance with regulations.
• Mentoring and upskilling team members, fostering a culture of learning, achievement, and knowledge sharing.

You are a hands-on engineering leader with a passion for innovation and a track record of delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. You thrive in dynamic environments, embrace experimentation, and are motivated by the opportunity to shape the future of digital insurance.

In order to be successful, you will have the following:

• Extensive experience leading engineering teams in product-led, agile environments, with a strong focus on rapid prototyping and delivery.
• Deep technical expertise across front-end (React, Next.js) and back-end (TypeScript, Python, Go, or C#) development, as well as cloud-native services and infrastructure as code.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available systems, with a strong understanding of DevSecOps, site reliability, and CI/CD automation.
• Experience with AI engineering, including building RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and working with LLM frameworks and agentic AI use cases.
• Strong communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a commitment to mentoring and developing others.
• Tertiary qualifications or substantial relevant experience (10+ years), with appropriate cloud certifications highly regarded.
