This is a dynamic, fast-paced role where you’ll be at the centre of our broker support team, fielding a high volume of calls, managing a busy queue, and helping brokers with policy renewals, referrals, and enquiries for small to medium businesses and retailers. You’ll have the autonomy to work through your own tasks, but you’ll never be on your own: our supportive team will be there to guide you, and we’ll teach you everything you need to know about insurance and underwriting. If you love the satisfaction of solving problems, making a difference for customers, and seeing your efforts pay off, you’ll find this role both challenging and highly rewarding.

You will also be responsible for the following:

 

  • Providing friendly, professional phone support to brokers and customers, helping them with policy renewals, referrals, and general enquiries.
  • Building strong relationships with brokers and partners, becoming a trusted point of contact.
  • Learning and using Zurich’s digital platforms to make processes simple and efficient for our customers.
  • Managing your own queue of tasks, working independently with the support of your team.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across different teams to deliver great customer outcomes.
  • Sharing feedback and ideas to help us continually improve our products and services.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals who are ready to start or restart their career in insurance or the corporate world. If you have a background in customer service, love helping people, and are eager to learn, you’ll fit right in.

 

In order to be successful, you will have the following:

 

  • Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, call centres, recruitment, sales, or similar type of roles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional phone manner.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and the confidence to work independently in a high pace environment.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • A willingness to learn new systems and embrace digital technology.
