Student Worker (Part-Time) – Claims, Zurich Insurance, Norway

Are you currently studying at university and interested in the insurance industry? If so, we have the opportunity for you. We are currently seeking a service-minded and detail-oriented student to join our Claims team for part-time work alongside their studies.
About the role
As a Student worker in the Claims team at Zurich, you will divide your time between Commercial Insurance claims and Accident & Health (A&H) claims, with the possibility to support other functions when required. This structure provides you with a broad understanding of different types of claims, as well as insight into how we collaborate with our customers and brokers throughout the claims process.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Performing administrative support for our claims handlers
- Gathering data and register new claims in our systems
- Handle simpler claims independently
- Process and pay invoices
- Support the local A&H team and customers, helping to ensure a smooth claims experience
- Support other functions when needed
You will be hired on an hourly basis, and the working schedule will be flexible. We expect that you are able to work at the office approximately 2 days per week. We can offer this position for a period of one year, with the possibility of an extension.

Who we’re looking for
- You have approximately two years left of your university studies, preferably within business administration or law.
- Verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian and English, equivalent to C2 level, are required.
- Proactive, flexible, and eager to learn, with a passion for problem-solving and initiative.
- You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to grow and learn together with your colleagues, while also being comfortable working independently.
- Administrative skills and previous experience from insurance industry are beneficial.
