Student Worker (Part-Time) – Underwriting & Distribution, Zurich Insurance, Norway

About the role

As a student worker, you’ll play a valuable part in our underwriting team, assisting with risk assessment, contributing to premium calculations and policy quotations, and supporting documentation and record keeping. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with brokers, agents, clients, and other internal teams, giving you valuable insight into different parts of the business.  You´ll also support our distribution channels, ensuring smooth collaboration with brokers and customers and contributing to the delivery of tailored insurance solutions. This job provides an excellent introduction to the world of insurance industry and a great opportunity to develop practical skills.

You will be hired on an hourly basis, and the working schedule will be flexible. We expect that you are able to work at the office approximately 2 days per week. We can offer this position for a period of one year, with the possibility of an extension.

Who we’re looking for

• You have approximately two years left of your university studies, preferably within business administration.
• Verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian and English, equivalent to C2 level, are required. 
• Proactive, driven, and curious mindset, with a passion for problem-solving and initiative.
• You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to grow and learn together with your colleagues.
• Administrative skills and proficiency in Excel will be beneficial.
