Professional with strong experience in Microsoft Azure administration, configuration, and optimization across infrastructure and platform services, ensuring availability, performance, resilience, and security of cloud environments. Solid knowledge of cloud networking, including virtual networks, subnetting, peering, routing, DNS, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, and access governance through Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID and RBAC. Capable of supporting scalable and secure systems architecture, implementing monitoring, alerting, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies using Azure-native solutions.
Hands-on experience with automation, scripting, and infrastructure as code using tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI, Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates, as well as administration of Windows Server and Linux in cloud-hosted environments. Familiar with Databricks initial setup and basic administration, monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights, and cloud security controls including Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, and policy-based governance. Also experienced in documentation, runbooks, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, change implementation, and operational support, including escalation and on-call routines when required.
Preferred qualifications include Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, and AZ-700, exposure to Databricks certifications or support for data platform teams, and familiarity with AKS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
