A/V Systems Manager
Zurich North America is seeking an AV Systems Manager, supporting development and integrations for the AV services team working from the Schaumburg, IL North America HQ.
This is a strategic role that will refine strategy and deliver A/V services in all North America offices. This requires having a technical expertise with M365 Teams Room platform and Crestron room systems with excellent interpersonal skills capable of providing assurance and troubleshooting in an executive environment.
As A/V Systems Manager, you will be expected to build on existing success and A/V roadmap to improve stability and responsiveness within a high-performing team:
- Manage team of A/V Systems Engineers to support office collaboration technology including MS Teams rooms, BYOD spaces, and signage.
 - Collaborate with M365 team to continue to build robust data-centric demand management platform focused on identification of problems pro-actively.
 - Focus on identifying ways to automate break/fix solutions with existing personnel and available tools.
 - Work with IT Site Deployment Lead to improve room standards with a focus on user experience.
 - Collaborate with Digital Enablement Lead to ensure appropriate education of business users.
 - Keep a pulse on the changing market to ensure ZNA strategy is at the forefront of technology.
 
Responsibilities:
- Ensure ongoing stability of Unified Collaboration (UC) devices like Crestron and QSC.
 - Exhibit professionalism and interpersonal skills while working with executive leadership in stressful situations.
 - Implement a continuous learning plan for the A/V Team focusing on internal development.
 - Promote the practice of detailed documentation to enhance team communication and continuity.
 - Recruit, mentor and retain talent with expertise in AV systems and service.
 - Prioritize pro-active resolution of issues while emphasizing expedited break/fix response.
 - Ensure collaboration and knowledge sharing across roles within team.
 - Provide guidance to the team while maintaining an agile mindset with incident response as a priority.
 - Develop ownership mindset to ensure projects are executed with quality.
 - Identify trends using the various monitoring tools available to our group (MS Pro Portal, Nexthink, Crestron Toolbox/XIO, Jabra Direct, etc.).
 - Establish standardized procedures for communication and resolution.
 - Translate knowledge or incidents into actions to support stability.
 - Enhance the A/V Demand Management tools by partnering with the M365 Productivity Team.
 - Propose innovative digital signage solutions to our Communications business partners.
 - Partner with IT Site Deployment Lead to establish leading A/V standards for existing and future office spaces.
 - Maintain external vendor and manufacturer relationships to maintain a pulse on the market.
 - Work with building partners including JLL and Facilities.
 - Leverage Deskside Support to expand the reach of A/V Support.
 
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Application Design and Development area
OR - High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Application Design and Development area
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- People management experience
 - Strong analytical skills
 - Customer service experience
 - Strong verbal and written communication skills

We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education.
The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is $124,500.00 - $203,700.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
