*Application Delivery Lead
Zurich (Schaumburg, IL) seeks an Application Delivery Lead to contribute to the application, development, maintenance and improvement of business applications. Specific duties include: develop and execute delivery plans to address business needs and gain buy-in from key stakeholder, evaluate impact of changes making adjustments to the delivery plan as required, analyze user needs and implement software solutions by managing internal and external suppliers; manage the service delivery of respective applications according to Service Level Agreements and address gaps with the business; report implementation progress and risk/issues to the business and gain alignment on solution approach; work with IT Architecture on solution design and any infrastructure related issues; ensure compliance with IT application, development and maintenance service management governance standards and policies; monitor solution performance, generating improvement actions where necessary; manage stakeholders, define risks and mitigation plan plans ensure operational readiness for projects and releases; oversee adherence of vendor services on projects; ensure compliance with appropriate internal control and regulatory requirements for both internal and external suppliers; and provide assistance and support for audits. Option to work remotely 60% of the time.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a closely related field of study, plus 7 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Project Manager, Project Lead, or similar information technology operations position. Must have 7 years of information technology experience, specifically with project management for implementing software solutions and delivering projects to improve business workflows and promote operational efficiency. Specific experience must also include: using agile tools and methodologies; managing IT vendor/service providers; working with external systems and services for integrations/data exchange; performing quality review checks on project deliverables; defining and assessing operational readiness criteria; acting as liaison between Business and IT while holding an end-to-end view of the system; and defining strategy for functional, integration and performance testing.
