Zurich (Schaumburg, IL) seeks an Application Subject Matter Consultant to focus on delivery of a consistent product and computing experience to the Zurich North America workforce and expand End User Computing capabilities in these areas as well as address Group Policies, Software packaging, and testing. Specific duties include: software packaging and distribution; performing software packaging, testing process, ensuring compliance at local and global guidelines; providing incident resolution support that ensures end user satisfaction; working closely with EUC Platform manager to support implementing policies, procedures, and systems and following through with implementation; and communicating customer issues with operations team and devising ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints; managing vulnerabilities for end points, managing virtual and physical devices build process; performing testing for any build related change testing; implementing changes to environment; and providing training for Level 2 engineers. Option to work remotely 40% of the time.

 

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or a closely related field of study, plus, 7 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Sr. Systems Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar position focusing on delivery of a consistent product and computing experience. Must have 6 years of experience with each of the following: working with software packaging including testing and incident resolution; utilizing industry-standard software packaging tools including Flexera Admin Studio; developing PowerShell scripts to automate recurring processes; and customizing software packages using wrappers. Option to work remotely 40% of the time.

The proposed salary range for this position is $153,317.
