Application Support Analyst I
Zurich is currently hiring an Application Support Analyst to join their Application Support Center team. The successful candidate will Provides second level support services to internal customers related to an application/ set of applications. Identifies basic application, rating, coding, workflow and software issues.
Applicant Support Analysts are responsible for a variety of tasks:
- Resolves basic inquiries
- Performs standardized operational tasks to ensure that the service levels and performance are met. Takes action where necessary to address or escalate performance or operational issues.
- Identifies, analyzes, and troubleshoots application problems reported by users
- Reports service performance to line management and provides feedback on execution of standardized operational tasks to business.
- Documents all inquiries into the Help Desk problem management system.
- Complies with IT service management governance, standards and polices.
- Provides input for service level performance reports to the business generating improvement actions where necessary.
- Supports the end-user satisfaction process and service improvement programs.
- Manages incident escalations and complaints, working with the Business Unit to resolve individual service issues.
- Supports business in disaster recovery testing
- Creates and maintains SOPs and RCAs to ensure process clarity and effective issue resolution.
Basic Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and No prior experience required in the Application Support area
OR
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and No prior experience required in the Application Support area
AND
- Customer service experience
- Experience in analyzing computer problems
- Rating Experience
- Coding Experience
- Must be able to work flexible schedules
Preferred:
- Insurance industry experience
- Organization skills
Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. The proposed hourly rate for this position is $22.40 - $30.87 with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 5%.
