As we integrate the newly acquired Travel Guard business, you’ll play a central role in planning and delivering complex audits, defining an interim and target-state audit approach, and bringing strategic insight to an expanding international portfolio. You’ll work across regions, collaborate with Group Audit’s Centres of Excellence, and apply innovative audit techniques to deliver meaningful and forward-looking outcomes for the business.

  • You’ll help develop and evolve a dynamic, risk-based audit plan for Zurich Cover-More and related Zurich Global Ventures entities.
  • You’ll apply sound professional judgement to determine audit scope, key risks, and the right testing approaches, working closely with the Chief Auditor.
  • You’ll deliver high-quality audits on time and within budget, collaborating with technical Centers of Excellence and leveraging Data Analytics, IT fundamentals, and GenAI tools.
  • You’ll prepare and deliver clear, impactful audit reports that articulate findings, root causes, business impact, and agreed actions to senior management.
  • You’ll build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across Zurich Cover-More and Zurich Group, maintaining open and constructive dialogue throughout the audit process.
  • You’ll foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and experimentation—developing yourself, coaching audit team members, and role-modelling curiosity and adaptability.
  • You’ll contribute to co-building a leading, future-focused audit function by applying innovative audit approaches and supporting collaboration across all audit levels and regions

What are we looking for?

  • You’ll bring 10+ years of Internal Audit, Risk, or Compliance experience in the insurance industry, or 8+ years in insurance business roles with strong exposure to risks and controls.
  • You’ll hold a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, or relevant qualification (CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent, MBA or equivalent an asset).
  • You’ll have strong knowledge of travel insurance or the ability to quickly understand its unique operational and risk dynamics.
  • You’ll demonstrate deep understanding of Internal Audit Standards, audit methodology, and internal control frameworks, including strong report writing skills.
  • You’ll have experience operating within complex, fast-moving, global organizations and navigating varying levels of audit maturity.
  • You’ll show excellent relationship management, influencing, and stakeholder engagement capabilities across all seniority levels.
  • You’ll bring strong project leadership skills, with the ability to organize teams, prioritize effectively, and coach others to deliver high-quality audit outcomes.
  • You’ll have meaningful experience or strong aptitude with new world skills such as Data Analytics, IT fundamentals, and GenAI-enabled audit techniques.
