Business Systems Analyst
Zurich is currently looking for a Business Systems Analyst II to work out of our North American headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. This role will be supporting a portfolio of commercial and underwriting insurance applications as part of the Large Property and Casualty UW Systems team within Information Technology Services.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills to effectively analyze and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications. The role involves supporting 2nd level production support for application(s), requirements gathering, application and integration testing, implementation, and training activities throughout the process to ensure original requirements are met.
This individual will collaborate with the team and the Business to translate business requirements into technical specifications for application updates related to projects, enhancements, and compliance needs within several UW applications in the Large Property or Large Casualty space. They will support the design, construction, and implementation of these updates to the applications. The candidate will act as a liaison between business and IT, balancing business needs with system performance and integrity, and should have a solid understanding of the insurance industry and its products.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and 0 years of experience OR
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of insurance or business experience OR
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- SQL querying experience
- P&C insurance knowledge
- Agile and scrum methodology experience
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Ability to effectively manage changing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Experience with change management tools/methodologies
- In-depth experience with testing scenarios execution

The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. The proposed salary range for this position is $58,740.00 - $96,250.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
