Digital Finance Transformation Lead or AVP

Zurich is looking to hire a Digital Finance Transformation Analyst/ Lead out of our Schaumburg, IL Headquarters! While this position will be based out of our North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL, we are offering the flexibility to work both in the office and remotely.   You will collaborate with your manager to set a schedule that supports you, our customers and the team.

 

As the Digital Finance Transformation Analyst/ Lead you will be working closely with teams across Finance. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills in implementing and developing new digital processes, and influence the future of finance at Zurich North America. 

This role will be filled at either the Analyst or Lead level.  The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant’s experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.

 

Key Responsibilities: 
 

  • Improve business decisions and simplify our way of working through insightful information, innovation, and intelligent automation by leveraging analytical methods and technology.
  • Research and lead proof of concepts on new technologies and solutions.
  • Identify and drive implementation of automation opportunities that leverage appropriate digital technologies (Alteryx, Microsoft Power Platform, Robotic Process Automation, VBA)
  • Lead and manage automation projects across Finance to ensure achievement of projects
  • Develop and implement automation solutions
  • Update and adapt the governance model for digital solutions 
     

Digital Finance Transformation Analyst Basic Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelors Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Business Analysis area
    OR

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Business Analysis area
    OR
  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Business Analysis area
    AND
  • Experience in Engineering, Consulting or IT
  • Experience in applying architectural principles to business solution

 

Digital Finance Transformation Lead Basic Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelors Degree and 10 or more years of experience in the Consulting or Engineering or IT area
    OR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 12 or more years of experience in the Consulting or Engineering or IT area
    OR
  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 10 or more years of experience in the Consulting or Engineering or IT area
    AND
  • Experience in applying architectural principles to business solutions
  • Experience identifying structural issues and organization, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies used for analysis of business architecture
  • Experience in planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives

 

Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • Digital Technology Consulting Experience
  • Experience working with Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, VBA and Alteryx
  • Strong Communication Skills
