*Global Network and Perimeter Product Manager

Zurich Services (Schaumburg, IL) seeks a Global Network and Perimeter Product Manager to manage and oversee the deployment and integration of operational IT services and solutions in compliance with relevant policies and processes and develop service delivery in alignment with the IT strategy. Specific duties include: oversee the direction setting for their respective function/country and develop service delivery in line with IT strategy; promote cost effective services through standardization and driving down run costs; work on designing the long-term strategy and direction setting for their country/function and provide visible leadership to IT staff, engaging them in operational and transformational activity; propose, agree and gain sign-off for service improvement initiatives to address core problems with the business and/or suppliers and gain buy-in from key stakeholders in support of IT work streams and activities; provide thorough analysis of current IT policy, processes and technology to identify service improvement initiatives to reduce the impact of problems on both the business and IT; operate daily across functional, national and cultural boundaries to ensure delivery of a consistent level of service provision to different business customers around the world; and own and develop a particular strand of long-term strategy and direction for their IT function. Position requires occasional U.S. and international travel to headquarters or data center sites to facilitate strategic project implementations or attend strategic planning meetings. Option to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a closely related field of study, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Head of Infrastructure and Service Management, Regional IT Network & Security Coordinator, Network and Security Engineer, Product and Technical Account Manager, or similar position in operational IT services and solutions. In the alternative, will accept 7 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Head of Infrastructure and Service Management, Regional IT Network & Security Coordinator, Network and Security Engineer, Product and Technical Account Manager, or similar position in operational IT services and solutions. Must have 5 years of experience with the following network and security technologies: Palo Alto NGFW; Palo Alto vFW; Palo Alto Prisma Access; Checkpoint; JNCIS (Firewall and VPN); Bluecoat; Linux Redhat; VSphere ICM ESXi v5.0; vCenter Server v5.0; ScanMail for Exchange v7.0; ServerProtect v5.58; Network VirusWall 1.0 / 2.0; TMCM v3.5; IWSS Windows 2.0 / 2.5; and IWSS Linux 2.2. Must also have experience with each of the following: designing business workflows and working with external systems and services for data exchange; performing quality review checks on project deliverables; acting as liaison between Business and IT while holding an end-to-end view of the system; and specifying/recommending integration and parallel testing criteria. Must be willing to occasionally travel within the U.S. and internationally to headquarters or data center sites to facilitate strategic project implementations or attend strategic planning meetings. Option to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

The proposed salary range for this position is $209,898.
