IT Internship (Summer 2026)

Zurich is currently looking for an Intern to support our IT Infrastructure & Operations Management team for Summer of 2026 out of our Schaumburg, IL offices.

 

As an I&O Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn about a broad spectrum of technology from cloud infrastructure to end user computing and network/telecom. This intern will work under immediate supervision and perform requested tasks alongside professionals who perform these roles. Generally, this position is part of a summer program with an assigned mentor. 

 

Primary projects you will work on:

 

  • Supporting implementation of new user technology
  • Low code-solutions within Microsoft 365 environment
  • Change management and technology integration
  • AV services and hybrid conferencing technology

 

You will learn:       

    

  • Working collaboratively across IT functions in North America
  • How technology connects to users
  • Project Management
  • AV and conferencing technology, specifically Microsoft Teams Rooms
  • Communication and expectation setting
  • Roles and responsibilities of an IT organization
  • Time management and self-direction in a fast-paced environment

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Management Information Systems, business analytics or related field
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program and will be enrolled in the fall of 2026
  • Two or more years of college coursework (should be a rising Junior or Senior)
  • Be legally eligible to work in the U.S indefinitely

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum cumulative current grade point average of 3.0 (current could mean last semester GPA)
  • Knowledge of automation and AI
  • Experience in developing low code automation or recall solutions
  • Exposure to agentic AI concepts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Problem solving skills in customer focused environment 
  • Quick Learner
  • Collaborative
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as needed

The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed hourly rate for this position is $24.00 - $27.50.
