Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Network & Telecom Intern to join our team and contribute to the enhancement of our customer service platforms. This internship provides hands-on experience working with Genesys Cloud, a leading Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platform, with exposure to AI applications in real-world customer service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
During this internship, the intern will:
- Review customer-facing numbers and call flows to ensure optimal routing and customer experience.
- Analyze AI opportunities within our platform in three key areas:
- Automated interactions with customers
- Agent assistance during calls
- Post-call analysis and analytics
- Collaborate with team members to identify potential improvements and efficiencies in our contact center operations.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership, gaining exposure to senior management and strategic decision-making processes.
Skills & Learning Opportunities:
Interns will develop:
- Hands-on experience with Genesys Cloud CCaaS and related technologies.
- Understanding of customer service workflows, call management, and AI applications in a production environment.
- Analytical skills through review and optimization of call flows and AI-assisted processes.
- Professional skills through mentorship and interaction with senior leadership.
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- Two or more years of college coursework (should be a rising Junior or Senior)
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S. indefinitely
Preferred:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher
- Problem solving skills in a customer focused environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education.
The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed hourly rate for this position is $24.00 - $27.00.
