SAP Solution Architect
Zurich North America is currently hiring a Functional FS-CD SAP Consultant, and this person will work in our North America HQ in Schaumburg, IL. He/She will report to the SAP Technical Manager.
Responsibilities:
The individual will be responsible for following business processes around Billing and Collection using SAP FS-CD for Insurance business:
- Open item accounting
- Payment processing
- Dunning
- Payment Lot
- Broker collections
- Correspondence
- Month End close and financial accounting.
- The consultant will create clear, concise deliverables that reflect a deep understanding of business needs and out-of-the-box software functionality.
- Work with multi-functional/technical teams to prioritize the work and then drive system solutions by clearly articulating business needs and co-ordinate with teams to get development moving.
- Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
- He/she will lead full life cycle implementations of FS-CD and lead other projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 7 or more years of experience OR
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience OR
- Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 7 or more years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7 plus years of demonstrated experience in process implementation and optimization in the areas of Billing and Disbursement using SAP FS-CD for Insurance business.
- Multiple end-to-end project lifecycle experience within SAP FS-CD/FICO
- Must have a Financial Services and/or an accounting background for SAP FS-CD
- Team player who works well with technical and business resources
- Experience with 3 to 4 full life cycle implementations of FSCD
- Knowledge of FS-CD on S4 HANA
- Knowledge of integrations with SAP Reinsurance (FS-RI) and SAP FICO is a plus.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understands communication channels and escalates appropriately
- Strong initiative; able to self-manage
- Comfortable with ambiguity and working through it to get the right things done
Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. The proposed salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $244,300.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 20%.
