Financial Line Senior Underwriter

The purpose of this role is to work with the Financial Lines Team supervised by the Line Manager in order to develop the portfolio.

Job Responsibilites:

1. Risk Assessment, Industralia and financial analysis, pricing and setting terms
2. Portfolio management (active portfolio management, maintenance and optimization, market analysis)
3. Support the annual business plan, budgets and forecasts in his/her product/portfolio responsibility.
4. Relationship maintenance with brokers and market counterparties
5. Assist LOB Head on compliance management
6. Assist LOB Head on product management
7. Assist LOB Head on FL Operations management

Job Requirment:

1.    University graduate with minimum 6 years working experience or Postgraduate with 4 years working experience
2.    Specific economics, finance, accounting, insurance or law studies will be valued 
3.    Working experience in FL wll be preferred. 
4.    Specific underwriting knowledge: 
5.    Understanding of policy wordings and understanding of the China market 
6.    Knowledge of Financial and Investment Market as well as its regulatory and competitive environment. 
7.    User of Microsoft office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
