Customer & Distribution Manager



Zurich is a leading global insurer in Singapore with a distinguished, multi-line proposition for corporate and commercial clients. As the Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for managing and strengthening Zurich’s strategic broker relationships in Singapore. You will be an integral part of the Customer, Distribution and Market Management team and lead the delivery and execution of our growth strategy within the Singapore insurance broking community

Qualifications and experience

  • Required Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in insurance industry
  • Strong executive presence, with the proven ability to influence senior leaders internally and externally, including at the C-level
  • Preferred: Previous market facing/ distribution experience.
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of commercial insurance business and products
  • Preferred: Strong understanding of insurance customer and distribution dynamics in the region

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop an overarching view of Zurich’s broker relationships including identifying the key strengths and gaps as well as outlining the focus growth segments.
  • Facilitate structured access to senior broking leaders through regular business review meetings, broker engagement forums and market events
  • Effectively manage broker engagement around renewal and new business pipelines across key lines of business and key countries as relevant
  • Lead specific growth initiatives with select broking partners in alignment with Zurich’s stated strategic priorities
  • Work closely with underwriting colleagues to ensure clear and timely communication around Zurich’s proposition, appetite, and underwriting strategies to the relevant broking teams
  • Oversee the delivery of broker agreements including regular portfolio analysis and business reviews
  • Maintain and deliver broker dashboards to relevant internal stakeholders to enable strategic assessment of evolving broker relationships
