Digital Transformation Analyst
The Digital Transformation Analyst will play a key role in delivering Zurich's AI-led transformation agenda, partnering with business, operations, and technology teams to identify opportunities, design solutions, and drive successful implementation.
This role goes beyond traditional business analysis. You will support the entire digital solution lifecycle—from opportunity intake and discovery through solution design, development, testing, deployment, hypercare, and adoption. You will work closely with business stakeholders, AI engineers, and vendors to ensure solutions deliver measurable business outcomes and sustainable operational improvements.
We are looking for an analytical, hands-on problem solver who can navigate ambiguity, challenge assumptions with data, and thrive in a fast-paced transformation environment.
Your Responsibilities
Discovery & Business Analysis
- Lead discovery activities for transformation initiatives by understanding current-state processes, pain points, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather, validate, and prioritize business requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable deliverables, including PRDs, user stories, process maps, functional specifications, and business cases.
- Use data and process insights to validate assumptions, quantify opportunities, and challenge both business and technical perspectives with evidence-based recommendations.
- Conduct impact assessments and define target-state operating models, processes, and success metrics.
Solution Design & Delivery
- Serve as the bridge between business users and AI engineering teams, ensuring solutions are aligned to business objectives and operational realities.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, vendors, and stakeholders to design fit-for-purpose digital and AI-powered solutions.
- Coordinate delivery activities across multiple initiatives, managing scope, dependencies, risks, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Support backlog management, sprint planning, prioritization, and solution reviews throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Ensure requirements are technically sound by understanding end-to-end data and process flows from front-end user experience through back-end systems and integrations.
UAT & Hypercare
- Develop test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and UAT plans to ensure solution readiness.
- Coordinate and facilitate UAT activities with business users, including defect management and resolution tracking.
- Support production deployments and go-live activities.
- Drive hypercare support, monitor solution performance, gather feedback, and coordinate issue resolution with delivery teams.
- Track adoption, benefits realization, and post-implementation enhancements.
Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, technology and vendors
- Develop and execute communication, training, and business readiness activities to support solution adoption.
- Present project updates, risks, key decisions, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business users, helping them understand opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and digital capabilities.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify process optimization, automation, and efficiency opportunities.
- Support governance, audit, risk, compliance, and reporting requirements across transformation initiatives.
- Maintain project documentation, decision logs, and delivery artefacts.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, user experiences, and solution effectiveness.
- Remain flexible and adaptable as priorities evolve and the transformation strategy matures.
Your Skills and Experience
Required
- 3–5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Digital Transformation, Process Improvement, Project Delivery, or Operational Excellence.
- Proven experience supporting end-to-end project or solution delivery from discovery through implementation.
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical audiences.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or equivalent process improvement experience).
- Experience translating business requirements into user stories, process maps, and solution requirements.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence to challenge assumptions and influence decision-making.
Preferred
- Experience in insurance, claims, underwriting, finance operations, or regulated industries.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and project management practices.
- Experience working with AI, automation, digital products, or workflow platforms.
- Familiarity with the digital stacks tools such as SQL, Azure environments and low/no code platform Power Platform (Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Agent Builder), or similar technologies
- PMP, Scrum, Product Owner certification, or equivalent project delivery experience.
