The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship offers hands-on experience in HR, with a focus in recruitment, data management and process improvement initiatives. It is ideal for students or recent graduates eager to develop practical HR skills in a dynamic and professional environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Support

• Assist in scheduling interviews and coordinating onboarding activities for new employees.

• Help manage candidate documentation and maintain accurate records in the HR system.

• Support recruitment-related communications and logistics.

 

Data Entry & System Management

• Accurately enter employee data (new joiners, leavers, changes) into the HR management system (GEMS).

• Maintain and update employee records to ensure data integrity and compliance.

• Help troubleshoot HR systems and support updates or new software implementations.

 

Reporting & Analytics

• Generate monthly HR reports, including metrics on new joiners, leavers, and other HR indicators.

• Compile and analyze data for HR initiatives and present findings to the team.

 

Administrative Tasks

• Support invoice processing, document filing, and organization of HR materials.

• Assist with general HR documentation and communications.

 

Employee Communication

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.

• Help prepare communication materials for employee engagement initiatives.

 

Special Projects

• Participate in HR projects such as reviewing and simplifying HR forms and notifications.

• Auditing and updating documents in employee P-files.

• Supporting other administrative and operational tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/ degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

 

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience: Previous internship or experience in an administrative role is a plus but not required.
