Swift Business Development Manager



Zurich is a leading global insurer in Singapore with a distinguished, multi-line proposition for corporate and commercial clients. As the Partnerships and Business Development manager, you’ll be responsible for developing Zurich’s market-leading, distinguished mid-market proposition across key Asian countries. You will be managing all aspects of the proposition roll-out including developing the overarching go-to-market strategy and business development plan as well as establishing and executing distribution partnerships across identified partners. 

This role will also entail critical internal stakeholder engagement across underwriting, operations, compliance, legal, finance and IPZ functions both locally/ regionally as well as globally

Qualifications and experience:

  • Required Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in insurance industry
  • Previous market facing/ business and partnership development experience.
  • Broad experience developing and executing broker, customer, and partnership strategies to build innovative product experiences and go to market models
  • Strong executive presence, with the proven ability to influence senior leaders internally and externally, including at the C-level
  • An operationally focused mindset, with an ability to lead teams through complex relationship management activities
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of commercial insurance business and products
  • Preferred: Strong understanding of insurance customer and distribution dynamics in the region
