Zurich Multinational Services Specialist

The Opportunity :

 By joining the Multinational Operations team at Zurich Singapore, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert within the Business Unit, supporting the execution and servicing of both producing (outward) and receiving (inward) business activities, including the administration of facultative reinsurance.

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to Underwriters, facilitating the translation of underwriting objectives into compliant regional or global insurance programs. You will ensure accurate interpretation and application of underwriting practices and procedures.

You will collaborate with international colleagues, working together to deliver high-quality and consistent services across the Zurich Multinational network.

Additionally, you will engage with brokers and customers to implement and manage global insurance programs, and oversee the issuance of receiving policies for Singapore-based subsidiaries of multinational organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Multinational Program Management

• Oversee end-to-end management of multinational programs, including daily issue resolution, performance monitoring, and participation in service review meetings.
• Act as an account representative to customers and brokers, delivering high-quality services through the worldwide Zurich Multinational Network.
• Communicate directly with customers and brokers regarding service matters provided by the multinational network.
• Handle multiple lines of business, such as Property, Financial Lines, Liability, Marine Cargo, and others.

• Communicate effectively within the multinational network to manage and resolve program-related issues (e.g., instructions, monitoring, issuance, payments).
• Ensure timely execution and high-quality delivery of assigned portfolio tasks.
• Design and manage operational action plans aligned with KPIs, prioritizing customer service.
• Proactively escalate potential issues to relevant stakeholders and efficiently investigate and resolve escalations.
• Allocate work, coach, and guide the team to enable effective service delivery.
• Monitor operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Resolve technical issues referred from other business functions, ensuring efficient and high-quality service for customers.
• Diagnose and provide business solutions to enhance value-added services and address customer-specific challenges.
• Support underwriters and relationship leaders in optimizing multinational program solutions as a network specialist.

• Prepare and deliver service presentations to brokers and customers as required.
• Produce program overviews and statistics using the reporting platform.
• Identify and comply with legal and regulatory controls relevant to standard work practices.
• Collaborate with the finance team for cash collection management.

• Supervise and quality-assure data, maintaining data integrity in all systems used.
• Perform quality checks on data entry before dissemination to the network.

Project Leadership

• Lead various projects, monitoring and controlling allocated human and material resources.
• Ensure successful project completion by maintaining ongoing dialogue with stakeholders during major project implementation.

Reinsurance Management

• Perform reinsurance maintenance and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including preparing and executing premium settlements, maintaining captive and reinsurance files, and conducting quality checks on bordereaux.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial insurance (insurance companies or brokers), with expertise in Property, Financial Lines, Marine Cargo, and/or Casualty insurance is required.
• Prior experience with multinational insurance programs, captives, and/or reinsurance accounting, is an asset.Proven ability to lead, contribute to, and/or support the design, testing, and implementation of operational projects.
