About Travel Guard
This role is part of our Travel Guard team. Travel Guard is a leading travel insurance brand, serving millions of leisure and business travellers worldwide. Established in 1982 we offer a comprehensive portfolio of travel insurance solutions and global assistance services. Travel Guard operates service centres across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, ensuring 24/7 support to help travellers navigate unexpected circumstances that may disrupt their plans. Travel Guard became part of Zurich Cover-More in December 2024.
What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you’ll work closely with teams across IT, Security, and Operations to support key initiatives that safeguard sensitive customer data and reinforce the security posture of our global travel insurance organization. As an Associate Compliance Analyst, you’ll have the chance to contribute directly to Travel Guard’s SOC 2 compliance journey, helping build essential processes from the ground up. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for early‑career professionals to gain practical experience in risk assessment, control testing, and compliance operations—while learning from seasoned leaders in a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Assist with collecting, organizing, and preparing SOC 2 control evidence under the direction of senior team members
- Support early-stage risk assessments, gap analysis activities, and basic remediation tracking to help the team prepare for the organization’s first SOC 2 audit (Type 1 and Type 2)
- Help maintain and update compliance documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency across SOC 2 requirements
- Participate in introductory control testing and support ongoing monitoring efforts with appropriate supervision
- Collaborate with IT, Security, Operations, and other teams to learn key processes and help implement controls that address industry-specific risks
- Contribute to developing materials for auditor interactions and assist in responding to routine questions or evidence requests
What skills and experience you’ll bring on this journey:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in Information Systems, Business, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant coursework or certifications with a high school diploma will also be considered
- 0–1 years of experience in compliance, audit, IT support, risk management, or related areas — internships, coursework, certifications, or capstone projects are welcomed
- Strong willingness to learn with an analytical, proactive, and collaborative approach to problem‑solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to internal and external partners
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured environment
