Combined Product Technical Lead

Zurich is one of the most specialized insurance companies within non-life insurance for local and international business in the Nordic market. We are now looking for an analytical and business-driven person to join our Combined Product Insurance team.

 

As an Combined Product Technical Lead, you will build up and be responsible for your own portfolio of contracts and customers with assignments such as premium setting, quotations, negotiations and measuring exposure and analyzing risk. You will underwrite new and renewal business and will build relationships in support of customer/business acquisition and retention. You will also proactively contribute ideas and work for the development of new or enhanced propositions based on technical, customer and distributor insights as well as proactively seek new business opportunities. We see that you have a strong technical background and the ability to drive and develop technical processes.

 

Reporting to the Head of Combined Product Insurance, you will be responsible for underwriting and analyzing new and renewal business, administering and monitoring underwriting rules, pricing tools and guidelines, and developing relationships with distributors to support business retention and acquisition.

 

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience of Combined Product Insurance underwriting
  • Broad market network and clear understanding of market dynamics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English, with proficiency equivalent to C2 level
  • Technical background and knowledge along the underwriting core processes
  • Knowledge of risk analysis and selection, pricing for new business and renewals
  • B.Sc. university degree within Business Administration, Economics or equivilant

You are fast moving and flexible. You like working independently but with good abilities to co-operate with both customers and colleagues.
