Job Description:
As a Construction Risk Engineer , you will identify, assess, and improve the construction project risks of our insured customers, which include large and mid-size Nordic and global companies in the Nordic region. You will hold technical customer responsibility and work closely with our Underwriters, Claims Handlers, Relationship Leaders, and Customers.
Besides construction risk engineering, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills within Property Risk Engineering by performing both desktop assessments and field assessments. You will also receive technical training in areas such as fire protection, business interruption, and new technology. Additionally, you will have account engineering responsibility where you will provide continuous technical advice and inputs to customers and brokers.
Moreover, there are opportunities to join one of our Global Technical Committees and you will have access to a global world leading network of Risk Engineering specialists.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience from the industry, preferably within construction/ manufacturing or as a Fire or Process Safety Engineer or working as a property/ construction risk engineer at a broker or an insurance carrier.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Swedish Language: Fluent preferred but as minimum C level.
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering.

- Ability to deliver clear and engaging presentations
- Strong relationship builder
- Ability to think critically and develop effective solutions for managing and mitigating risks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
As a person, you show initiative and have strong commitment to customer service. You are an analytical thinker and like to solve problems systematically. You like working independently but with good abilities to co-operate with both customers and colleagues globally.
