Senior Liability Claims Handler Sweden

Zurich is one of the most specialized insurance companies within non-life insurance for local and international business in the Nordic market. Our Nordic Claims department works with a wide range of claims within different Lines of Business for Customers in the Nordics as well as in the rest of the world. We are now looking for an outgoing and positive person to join our Claims department as a Senior Liability Claims Handler.


As a Senior Liability Claims Handler you will independently handle all kinds of liability claims across   the Nordic countries. The claims handling consists of gathering relevant evidence and information to accurately investigate the liability, assess the value including recognizing potential fraud and recovery indicators.


We are focused on a proactive and efficient claims handling and aim to deliver an excellent claims service supporting both our customers and Zurich. Communication with stakeholders, such as customers, brokers, claimants, experts, underwriters and claim colleagues is an important part of the job. In this role you will have regular contact with our regional and global referral points.


Qualifications and skills:

  • Several years of experience as a Liability Claims Handler. Experiences in other lines of businesses is a plus
  • Excellent technical knowledge along the claims handling core processes
  • Working with international claims handling
  • Relevant business/industry qualifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English are required, other Nordic languages a plus

  • Proactive and innovative approach to claim solutions
  • Problem solving, decision making and judgment skills
  • Good communication and negotiation skills

The role is based out of Sweden.
