Student Worker (Part-Time) – Finance, Zurich Insurance

If so, this could be the opportunity for you! We are looking for a responsible and curious student with a strong interest in finance to join our Accounting team in a part-time role alongside your studies.
Here you´ll have the chance to become part of a global company, work closely with our Nordic countries and step into the world of insurance. The role is based at our Nordic headquarters in the heart of Stockholm.
About the role
As a Student Worker within the Accounting team at Zurich, you will support a wide range of tasks in a modern finance department. Your responsibilities will include bank reconciliations, bookkeeping, processing invoices, allocating payments and collaborating with colleagues in other departments.
You will work with supplier invoices and help manage our Accounts Payable ledger. You will also support the team with account reconciliations and account postings. In your daily work, you will use Rillion for vendor invoice processing and SAP as our main financial system – giving you valuable experience with tools that are widely used in the industry.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the daily Accounts Payable process, including invoice processing and payment runs.
- Performing bank reconciliations and helping maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
- Allocating payments to the correct accounts and assisting with account postings.
- Helping prepare financial reports and supporting month-end activities.
- Collaborating with colleagues in other departments to resolve finance-related questions and discrepancies.
- Contributing to improvements in our finance processes and taking on ad hoc tasks as needed.
You will be hired on an hourly basis, and the working schedule will be flexible. We expect that you are able to work at the office approximately 2-3 days per week. We can offer this position for a period of one year, with the possibility of an extension.

Who we’re looking for
- You have approximately two years left of your university studies, preferably within finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
- Verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English, equivalent to C2 level, are required.
- You are curious, eager to learn and motivated to work in a professional finance environment.
- You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to grow and learn together with your colleagues, while also being comfortable working independently.
- You possess strong attention to detail and a high level of responsibility.
- Administrative skills and previous experience with excel are beneficial.
