Part-time student job as Travel Claims Handler at Zurich Insurance

We are currently seeking an dedicated and detail-oriented student with strong customer service skills to join our Travel Claims teams for part-time work alongside studies. You will be based at our Nordic headquarters in the heart of Stockholm, Sweden.
Role Overview:
As a Student Travel Claims Handler, you will manage travel-related claims. Your responsibilities will primarily involve processing travel claims and conducting various investigations. Communicating via phone and email with the injured parties, policyholders, and third-party companies is a major part of the claims handling process.
Claims handling includes receiving and registering claims, investigate them and pay out compensation. You will be responsible for all aspects of the claims handling. The working hours vary, and you might be scheduled to work evenings on a regular basis.
You will be hired on an hourly basis and the working occasions are flexible. We expect that you are able to work about 2 days a week. There are excellent opportunities for extension, and we hope you will join us on our journey to success.
Key tasks and accountabilities:
- Oversee each step of the process of travel-related claims, from claim registration to payment.
- Investigate claims thoroughly to ensure fair outcomes.
- Responding to customer queries and providing guidance via phone and email will be one of your main responsibilities in this role.
- Serve customers across all Nordic countries, offering clear information about our insurance products.
- Efficiently manage a high volume of customer inquiries while maintaining high standards of service and accuracy.
Qualifications
- You must have at least one or two years remaining in your university studies.
- Fluent in Swedish and strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required at a C2 level.
- Previous experience in customer service is highly valued.
- Administrative experience is considered beneficial.
Skills & Competencies:
- Service minded, communicative and flexible.
- Proven abilities to co-operate with both colleagues and customers.
- Proficiency in Norwegian, Finnish, or Danish is highly beneficial.
- Solution-driven with excellent problem-solving skills.
