We are currently seeking an outgoing and customer-oriented student with strong system skills, to join our Underwriting Service Team for part-time work alongside studies. You will be based at our Nordic headquarters in the heart of Stockholm, Sweden.

Role Overview: 

As a student in the underwriting services team at Zurich Nordic, your work will mainly involve handling domestic and multinational insurance across several insurance lines. You will be responsible for monitoring transactions, collecting insurance premiums, and efficiently entering data into our systems. Additionally, when needed, you will support your colleagues, Underwriting Service Specialists, with other tasks. This job provides an excellent introduction to the dynamic world of insurance.

This position is part-time and designed to complement your studies, providing you with valuable insight into the insurance industry and the opportunity to work within a global, inclusive team focused on delivering value to clients across the Nordic regions.

Key tasks and accountabilities: 

• Perform data analysis and reporting in Excel, using advanced functions and continuously seeking new ways to improve and optimize workflows.
• Create, maintain, and automate reports for both internal use and external stakeholders.
• Collect and analyze data to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
• Present data insights clearly through visualizations and presentations, supporting everything from status meetings to executive steering groups.
• Prepare customized reports and offer ongoing support and solutions for various tasks within the team.

You will be hired on an hourly basis and the working occasions are flexible. We expect that you can work about 2 days per week on average parallel with your studies and during semester breaks.  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Business Administration or a related field.
• At least two years left of your studies.
• Fluency in Swedish and strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
• Administrative skills and proficient in Excel
• Service minded, communicative and flexible
• Good abilities to co-operate with both colleagues and customers
