We are currently seeking an outgoing and detail-oriented student with strong system skills to join our underwriting teams for part-time work alongside studies. You will be based at our Nordic headquarters in the heart of Stockholm, Sweden.

Role Overview: 

As a student in the Property & Engineering Lines teams at Zurich Nordic, your work will mainly involve assisting underwriters, contributing to premium calculations and policy quotations, and supporting documentation and record keeping. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with brokers, agents, clients, and other internal teams, giving you valuable insight into different parts of the business.

This position is part-time and designed to complement your studies, providing you with valuable insight into the insurance industry and the opportunity to work within a global, inclusive team focused on delivering value to clients across the Nordic regions.

In Engineering Lines, we focus on supporting clients as they invest in new factories, production facilities, and infrastructure, managing the risks that come with these major projects. In Property, we safeguard the operational side, protecting our clients’ physical assets and the revenue they generate.

Key tasks and accountabilities: 

• Support underwriters with all administrative tasks related to property and engineering risks, such as organizing client profiles, compiling property details, and gathering information on exposure to natural catastrophes.
• Make sure all decisions and important information are clearly documented and follow both company rules and legal requirements.
• Collect information and clarify decisions in cooperation with brokers, agents, clients, and internal teams.

You will be hired on an hourly basis and the working occasions are flexible. We expect that you can work about 2 days per week on average parallel with your studies and during semester breaks.  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Business Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• At least two years left of your studies.
• Fluency in Swedish and strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
• Administrative skills and proficient in Excel.
• Service minded, communicative and flexible.
• Good abilities to co-operate with both colleagues and customers.
