ZIRIS Coordinator in Stockholm

Zurich Nordic offers local and global insurance programs both standardized as well as individually tailored. Our customers are mainly international and large industrial companies. Key for us to service these customers are to service Captives or handle reinsurance placed on these accounts. As the business has grown we have recently created a new team, Reinsurance Operation that will focus on serving internal and external customers when it comes to Reinsurance. We are now looking for a positive person to join this team as an ZIRIS Coordinator.

As a ZIRIS Coordinator, you will have a variety of tasks centered around our people and processes for reinsurance, as well as the system for international reinsurance, ZIRIS. You will work closely with the reinsurance function within Underwriting, as well as individual Underwriters, to translate reinsurance placements into instructions for how these will be entered into systems. A key part of the role also involves engaging with external stakeholders (brokers and external reinsurers) to settle balances and provide answers related to reinsurance placements. In this capacity, you will be in contact with other functions within the Nordic business as well as global teams.

As the new team is being established, we expect the person in this role to contribute to setting new processes, strengthening governance and controls around reinsurance, and participating in projects that will arise in this area.

Qualifications:

• Academic degree in Economics or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience with reinsurance or other relevant insurance expertise
• Fluent in English are required
