How you will make an impact

As a Business Audit Manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of audit engagements in interaction with teams across UK, Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. With the support of the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for providing insights to stakeholders, leading the audit teams to bring audit outcomes of excellent quality. You will identify trends and themes patterns in results, develop audit reports and influence key stakeholders in broader actions. This opportunity offers an international learning platform where you will share audit experience and knowledge, learn about new audit approaches and help build your career.

 

 

Your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Developing own knowledge and business awareness and building strong business relationships
  • Keeping the business safe by leading the execution of a portfolio of audit engagements end-to-end, including global audits across different regions with the support of the Senior Manager
  • Building learning and apply professional judgement in planning and risk assessment activities, determining the right audit scope, key risks to be addressed and most suitable audit techniques and approaches alongside the Senior manager and regional Audit Leads.
  • Creating a collaborative and supporting team spirit while overseeing the quality of outcomes
  • Guiding, coaching and reviewing the work of the team throughout the audit engagement
  • Influencing the business by agreeing actions and delivering the final audit report, with support from the Senior Manager, when needed
  • Contributing to the Group Audit global team through sharing own technical knowledge and engaging in our continuous training program. 

 

 

Your skills and experience

  • Degree in a relevant field or professional qualification
  • Significant proven experience in Audit / Risk Management / Compliance or significant experience in Insurance industry
  • Experience in the Financial Services Industry is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Internal Audit Standards, internal control framework and audit testing
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to organize teams, prioritize tasks, guide and coach the team to deliver on time to high quality standards
  • Experience in leading teams within complex international organizations with multiple cultures and in a hybrid working environment 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills with proven ability to interact with stakeholders from all seniority levels and build business relationships
  • Ability to influence teams and senior management executives
  • Collaborative, flexible, persistent, and results-oriented mindset
  • Passion and enthusiasm to continue to grow yourself and others around you
  • Degree of flexibility and enthusiasm to travel locally and/or internationally (around 20% of the time might be required).
