The opportunity: 

 

At Zurich our customers have trusted us with around £20bn invested in Zurich funds, and the UK Investments team seeks to ensure that we look after and invest this money appropriately. The Investment Governance & Reporting team helps carry out these responsibilities by continuing to review the funds on offer and making sure our customers have up to date and accurate information about the funds they are invested in. To fulfil the information part of this responsibility we produce around 1,200 fact sheets per month and this role is crucial in supporting their delivery. You will work collaboratively with the wider team and our third party suppliers to assist in this delivery. There will also be opportunity to work with the rest of the team on other governance related matters.

What will you be doing? 

 

  • Running the monthly factsheet process to ensure customers have timely and accurate information. This includes:
    • Collation of data for use in the process
    • Working with the Corporate Actions team to reflect fund updates.
    • Use the factsheet production tool to generate circa 1,200 factsheets a month.
  • Liaise with 3rd party factsheet provider to ensure continued good service is received.
  • Providing data to public fund data sources which host information about Zurich funds
  • Produce daily data to show Zurich's compliance with the disclosure & transparency requirements.
  • Liaise with third party fund managers to assist in the management of fund governance related issues
  • Review of assessment of value reports from external fund managers
  • Manage stakeholder expectations effectively and be able to organise your time to exceed these expectations.
  • Take responsibility for the resolution of direct queries/questions received from other areas of the business, with the support of the wider team.
  • Maintain local procedures and process / control documentation and indicate improvements.
  • Take ownership of tasks, don’t accept the status quo and suggest methods of resolving problems.
  • Ad hoc tasks on a regular basis.

 

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • Comfortable with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of using Power Query would be preferred
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Working in a fund support role within the financial services industry would be preferred
