Protection Development Consultant (Part-time, Job-share, Full-time)

The opportunity:

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Protection Development Consultant (BDM) within Zurich’s ambitious Distribution team. You focus will be to initiate and develop intermediary relationships primarily through telephone contact, and supporting structured campaigns and adviser follow ups.  You will help identify, create and deliver these email and call campaigns to the adviser community, supporting the objective of growing our reach and share in the market. 

 

You will also be responsible, once competent, to present to adviser audiences on our products and services through webinar technology, gaining initial interest from advisers who typically may not have used Zurich before.

 

You will build and develop your knowledge of Zurich and competitor products to help position our proposition effectively.

This role is a targeted role, you will enter the current and competitive sales and distribution remuneration scheme.

What will you be doing?

 

  • Be part of a supportive, fun, and challenging team with ambitious growth targets
  • Create and develop relationships remotely with intermediaries to promote Zurich and drive protection sales, ultimately growing our reach and market share.
  • Promote the Zurich proposition predominantly using remote methods such as telephone, Microsoft teams meetings, webinars and social media.
  • Be at the leading edge of understanding the marketplace and industry developments when dealing with intermediaries.
  • Maintain product and market knowledge and apply this knowledge appropriately.

 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • An energetic, impactful candidate with the desire to succeed in a supportive but challenging environment.
  • Ideally experience in Protection or Telephone roles, or with an attitude to learn quickly.
  • Someone who can adapt their communication style to the individual needs of intermediaries.
  • Able to network and successfully build relationships via remote methods of contact.
  • Have effective organisational and planning skills.
  • Be self-motivated, goal orientated and resilient in a fast paced environment.
