Bilingual Campus & Early Talent Recruiter
The Opportunity
Are you looking for a caring, collaborative, values-driven workplace with inspiring teammates and leaders? Do you have the ambition and desire to be the best and thrive at the most impactful global insurance provider in the world? Look no further than Zurich Canada.
If you have experience in campus and early talent recruiting and are looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
Zurich Canada is currently looking for a Bilingual Campus & Early Talent Recruiter to help design, build, and deliver a next-generation Early Talent capability that integrates campus recruiting, workforce planning, and structured career pathways into a single national system.
Reporting to the AVP, Talent Acquisition Manager, you will play a key role in evolving Zurich Canada’s early talent strategy, combining flagship program ownership, pipeline development, workforce intelligence, and market engagement. You will help shape Zurich’s future workforce across both English and French Canada.
This is a unique opportunity to build your knowledge and experience for the future in a supportive environment where your voice matters. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
Zurich Canada uses artificial intelligence–enabled tools to support certain aspects of the recruitment process, including the initial review and screening of applications. Artificial intelligence is not the sole basis for candidate shortlisting or selection. All hiring decisions are reviewed and made by qualified hiring professionals.
Zurich follows a hybrid work model requiring three days per week of in-person presence, which may include time in the office or market-facing engagements.
What you will do
- Own the design, governance, and continuous improvement of Zurich Canada’s flagship Early Careers programs (internships, co-ops, apprenticeships), ensuring a high-quality experience from attraction through conversion into full-time roles.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for early talent, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and candidate conversion.
- Build and manage national early talent pipelines across key business areas such as underwriting, claims, actuarial, engineering, and commercial functions, aligned to 12–24 month workforce forecasts and evolving skill needs.
- Lead Zurich Canada’s campus and early talent engagement strategy, including university, college, and community partnerships, campus events, career fairs, and early talent forums nationwide.
- Develop and refine a target-school and talent-market strategy, with a strong focus on strengthening bilingual talent pipelines in Quebec and ensuring equitable access to English and French early career opportunities across Canada.
- Partner closely with HR and business leaders to translate workforce plans and future skill needs into early talent sourcing, pipeline, and conversion strategies.
- Use recruiting systems, talent technology, market intelligence, and talent data to manage pipelines, identify trends, and generate actionable insights on pipeline health, conversion performance, diversity outcomes, and workforce readiness.
- Translate pipeline metrics, market insights, and workforce data into clear, executive-ready narratives that support HR and business decision-making.
- Drive a structured early talent conversion strategy, ensuring strong progression from internship and co-op programs into full-time roles and long-term career pathways.
