Finance Internship (8 or 12 month Contract)

Zurich Canada is currently looking for post-secondary students or recent graduates for an 8- or 12-month Finance Internship to provide support with various projects and tasks to support business initiatives.
You will work under direct supervision and perform requested tasks alongside experienced professionals. This opportunity is part of our internship program and is also open to Co-op students or recent graduates.
This Internship/Co-op role is a unique opportunity to build your knowledge and experience for the future in a supportive environment where your voice matters.
In this role you will:
• Provide general project support to the Finance department
• Support daily operational activities, contributing to the team’s efficiency.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel extensively for data analysis, including creating pivot tables, cleaning datasets and performing financial calculations to support various business initiatives.
• In some cases, field work and interacting with customers or clients will be required
• Some interns may need to help the company with in-depth research and filing of
records.

Basic Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in a Finance university program, ideally entering 3rd or 4th year or graduated from a Finance university program in 2024 or 2025.
• Be legally eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
• Demonstrates problem solving skills in a customer focused environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with pivot tables and data cleaning.
• Familiarity with VBA and Macros is a plus, but not required
• Self-motivated, punctual, professional and able to work independently
