Winter HR Internship/Co-op - Talent Team

We’re excited to invite a student to join our Talent team as a Human Resources Intern/Co-op. This role offers hands-on experience in areas such as Talent Development, Talent Management, Diversity, Inclusion, Equity & Belonging (DIEB), Community Impact, and Talent Communications. You’ll contribute to meaningful projects, develop new skills, and be part of a team that values who you are and what you bring.
What You’ll Do
As a Talent Intern, you will:
• Support projects that strengthen our Talent Management strategy, such as succession planning, leadership development, and employee listening.
• Contribute to Talent Development initiatives that help employees grow their careers and thrive at work.
• Get involved in DIEB and Community Impact activities, helping us create a more inclusive workplace and positively impacting our communities.
• Assist with research, data analysis, presentations, and project coordination that inform HR decision-making.
• Support Talent communications, including:

- Drafting internal communications.
- Creating promotional materials for programs and events.
- Supporting social media and content development for DIEB, ERGs, and community impact initiatives.
• Explore opportunities where AI and emerging technologies can enhance how we work in HR and across the business.
• Collaborate with HR professionals, leaders, and employees to deliver programs that enhance employee experience and belonging.

Basic Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in a university or college program (ideally HR, Communications, Business, or a related field).
• Returning to school in the upcoming semester (3rd or 4th year preferred).
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Creative skills with an interest in designing promotional materials and content.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is an asset but not required.
• Self-motivated, professional, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience using AI-powered tools or technologies (e.g., generative AI platforms, data/analytics tools, or automation software) and curiosity about how AI can shape the future of HR and business practices.
