Claims Call Center Senior Representative- Automotive

Zurich North America is hiring a Claims Call Center Senior Representative to join our Claims team! We are open to hiring talent anywhere in the U.S.as this is a remote position. 

 

The selected candidate must be willing to work M-F 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m..Pacific Standard Time (PST).

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

 

  • Handle first and third-party claims taking responsibility to resolve all enquiries from both customer and external contacts to ensure delivery of a customer focused claims service.

  • Recommend alternative sources/courses of action in order to ensure an efficient, day to day customer service is delivered.

  • Receive, investigate and respond to technical queries from customers and/or colleagues to ensure customers receive appropriate advice.

  • Investigate claims to evaluate costs and risk and ensure investigations are conducted and concluded effectively and efficiently.

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Customer Service Area.

            OR             

  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and no prior experience in the Customer Service area

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Contact/Call center experience

  • Basic Insurance industry knowledge

  • Microsoft Office skills

  • Customer Service facing experience in the automobile industry (i.e. Dealerships, Auto Repair Shops, Auto Parts Shop etc.)

  • Ability to interpret automotive issues to the customer

  • Reside in a PST time zone

The salary range for this role is $31,900 - $45,500.  This is the range Zurich NA in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of the posting.  This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed Remotely in any US state. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.  This job is also bonus eligible. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
