Customer Information Services Analyst II

Zurich North America is currently seeking a Customer Information Services Analyst II to join our team.

 

This role will report to the Manager of Customer Information Services & Risk Intelligence and may sit remotely in Illinois or Georgia.

 

The key purpose of this role will be to:  

 

  • Support our customers, brokers, and internal business partners with consultation, strategic needs, and business performance of claims and exposure data
  • Responsible for the development, analysis, and delivery of internal and external analytics, scorecards, KPIs, or financial data to address customer needs and identify trends and assess business impact
  • Serve as a liaison between the business and IT to provide recommendations and solutions to solve business and system needs

 

Key Accountabilities include:

 

  • Support our customers, brokers, and internal business partners with system support, consultation, and delivery of claims and exposure data though Zurich’s Risk Intelligence system
  • Assess business impacts and performance trends by developing and analyzing complex data, key performance indicators, forecasts, or scorecards
  • Generate business insights through data analysis to support customer needs and to implement solutions
  • Leads training sessions with internal and external users and provides periodic capabilities demonstrations for new business prospects
  • Coordinates and leads activities with business owners to gather detailed requirements from through interviews, documentation and facilitated working sessions for approved projects and enhancements.
  • Leads analysis of requirements to determine the systems’ potential and defines impact to other business units and systems. In addition, provides input to the development effort
  • Leads individual or sub project tasks affecting single or multiple business and IT departments
  • Evaluates project impact through consultation with the business, regulatory, Information Technology management, development, quality assurance, validation, and training teams.
  • Performs system configuration and integration testing including the functionality, performance and fit to ensure original requirements are met.
  • Mentors team members in technology, architecture, and delivery of applications
  • Multi-tasks to balance the competing constraints of business need, services, technology, and quality to produce the specified product, service or result with minimal change requests required
  • Provide consultation and knowledge sharing to internal business partners and/or external customers or distributors by communicating complex concepts, sharing insights and making recommendations, including periodic participation in customer meetings and/or assist other business units

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Business Analysis area
    OR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Business Analysis area
    AND
  • Experience in mainframe and PC environments
  • Experience in insurance operations and regulatory environment
  • Microsoft Office Excel and Word experience
  • Business Systems Integration
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Commercial insurance experience
  • Strong analytical and planning skills
  • Ability to effectively manage changing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience with change management tools/methodologies
  • In-depth experience with testing scenarios execution
  • Experience leading teams of project consultants

 

 

At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Additional rewards may encompass short-term incentive bonuses and merit increases. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is $64,600.00 - $105,900.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
