Enterprise Data Integration Architect
Zurich North America is currently hiring an Enterprise Data Integration Architect to work remotely for our Zurich North America Headquarters office. The Enterprise Data Integration Architect is responsible for developing the data integration approach and framework for the enterprise and implementing data integration solutions.
Job Accountabilities:
• The person supports data architecture and data design .
• Design integration solutions that fit within the enterprise’s larger data integration strategy or initiative, including recommending data integration tools.
• Develop and implement standard enterprise-wide integration specification template(s).
• Identify and publish strategies for aggregating and integrating data from various sources.
• Identify and design any transformations or conversions required to maximize data consistency and usability.
• Define integration patterns.
• Monitor the execution of the data integration feeds
• Interview business users and business analysts to understand the use cases that the integration solution must support.
• Utilize data profiling, cleansing, and conforming techniques to design procedures / packages.
• Develop overall architecture and standards for the enterprise to extract, transform, and load data from homogeneous or heterogeneous data sources.
• Co-develop enterprise metadata standards with metadata architects.
• Document best practices and guidelines for the enterprise.
• Review and approve code used for data initiatives and programs.
• Complete source-to-target mappings for enterprise data program implementations.
• Recommend new tools, technologies, approaches, best practices for data integration within the enterprise.
Required:
• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology and 6 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area
OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent in Information Technology and 8 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area
OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree in Information Technology and 6 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area
Preferred:
Technical Skills:
• Enterprise data integration, flow and design.
• Database design and modeling.
• Data profiling.
• Data warehousing technologies (e.g., Teradata, Snowflake).
• Data lakes technologies (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Amazon S3).
• IBM InfoSphere Data Architect (IDA) or similar data tool
• ETL tools (e.g., DataStage, Apache NiFi, Informatica).

We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education.
The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is 113,100-185,000, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 20%.
