What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a Paralegal to join the Zurich Cover-More (ZCM) legal team, supporting the Travel Guard brand. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative and high-performing legal function within a global travel insurance leader. You'll work on a wide range of legal matters — including marketing compliance, global distribution deals, and contract review/management — while contributing to a business undergoing exciting transformation and growth.

This is a hybrid role, and we welcome applications from candidates based near any of our home offices: Stevens Point, WI; Houston, TX; or Schaumburg, IL.

What will you be doing?

  • Reviewing marketing and social media content for regulatory compliance
  • Assisting with and approving responses to consumer complaints
  • Supporting the legal team on major global distribution deals, including regulatory surveys and client coordination
  • Conducting legal research across various jurisdictions and subject areas
  • Assisting in the review and preparation of NDAs and complex third-party contracts, ensuring consistency and accuracy
  • Maintaining and organizing contract files and tracking systems (e.g., Excel, DocuSign)
  • Supporting the Travel Compliance Protocol (TCP)

What are we looking for?

  • A paralegal certificate and/or relevant post-secondary education
  • At least 2 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to perform substantive contract reviews
  • A proactive mindset and the confidence to work independently with limited oversight
  • Experience working with or supporting cross-border or global legal matter
  • Insurance industry experience is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (especially for tracking), and Outlook; familiarity with DocuSign; knowledge of WestLaw and Pacer
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders and time zones

Compensation Data

Compensation for roles at Zurich Cover-More varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable range of compensation for roles. For additional information about our Total Rewards, Click here. Other rewards may include short term incentive bonuses and merit increases. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill, and education.

The salary range for this role is $70,000.00 - 90,000.00. This is the range Zurich Cover-More in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of the posting. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also bonus eligible. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
