Premium Audit Associate
Zurich is currently hiring a Premium Audit Associate to join their audit team. As a Premium Audit Associate, your role is critical to providing clarification and insight to premiums paid and due, which directly affect the underwriting results of a company. You will perform examination of policyholder´s accounting and financial records to ensure accurate calculation of earned premium for lower to medium complexity risks and that audited exposures are accurately calculated. : In this role, you will start off converting audit documents into usable worksheets and grow to handle low to medium account audits in all industries for both workers compensation, liability, and business auto.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- While working under supervision, organize and manage assigned workload.
- Complete assigned workload timely and accurately.
- Escalate potential disputes/questions that arise from the support function.
- Complete lower complex audit under direct supervision.
- Provide status updates from assigned task.
- Participate in and support short-term, defined scope projects and customer initiatives.
- Model behaviors that demonstrate commitment to corporate values.
- Take accountability for participating in the performance management cycle.
- Participate fully as a team member and contribute to the improved performance of the team.
- Expand knowledge and exchange it with team members and business partners.
- Take action to manage own personal development.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Accounting, Finance, or Insurance
OR - Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Insurance Industry Experience
- Microsoft Office Suite Experience
- Premium Audit Knowledge
- Workers’ compensation, general liability, auto, inland marine, garage liability auditing experience
- Knowledge of NCCI Workers Compensation and ISO General Liability rules, manuals, and industry practices
- Experience collaborating in a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed hourly rate range for this position is $24.18 - $32.37, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 5%.
