Variable Life and Annuity Specialist

Zurich is currently looking for a Variable Life and Annuity Specialist for our Accident & Health (A&H) Division. This position will be based out of Overland Park, Kansas. 

 

As a Variable Life and Annuity Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting Accident & Health as a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional. This role supports the administration of high-income variable life insurance. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in the investment or fund administration industry, with exposure to trade processing and financial advisor support.  

 

This position requires strong coordination skills, accuracy in processing investment transactions, and a client-focused mindset. 

 

What will you be doing? 

 

  • Reviewing trade requests for accuracy and completeness.  
  • Providing trade instructions to our third-party administrator for processing. 
  • Inputting transaction information into our in-house administration system. 
  • Accurately input transaction data into internal policy administration and investment systems. 
  • Coordinating trade transactions with various fund managers. 
  • Processing and distributing investment related correspondence. 
  • Generating and distributing reports. 
  • Index and maintain trade-related documentation in electronic filing systems. 
  • Respond to inquiries from financial advisors and high-net-worth clients in a timely and professional manner. 

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Customer Service or Sales Support area
    OR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Customer Service or Sales Support area

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Advanced knowledge of Zurich products and services
  • Complex analytical and problem solving skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in the fund industry, ideally with a fund administrator or a fund management company. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. 
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

 

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. If your expectations are above the listed range, we still encourage you to apply—your unique background matters to us. The proposed Salary range for this position is $62,700.00 - $102,600.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
