What you will do
Asset Liability Management
- Contribute to the production and enhancement of ALM and investment risk analytics supporting local solvency assessments
- Perform quantitative analyses on sensitivities, scenario impacts, hedging effectiveness, and the interaction of assets and liabilities under different economic environments
- Develop, maintain, and improve analytical tools supporting investment decisions
Strategic Asset Allocation support
- Deliver analyses that inform SAA recommendations with consideration of market expectations, liability profiles, risk budgets, capital constraints, and liquidity considerations
- Support Business Units in interpreting ALM/SAA outcomes and scenario results
Balance Sheet Insights & Governance
- Prepare materials and analysis for Investment Committees and other governance bodies discussing investments and related topics
- Support the application and continuous refinement of internal methodologies, risk frameworks, and processes linked to ALM & SAA
Cross Functional Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Group IM, Local IM, Finance, Risk and Actuarial teams to ensure aligned and transparent balance sheet steering
- Communicate complex quantitative concepts clearly and effectively to a broad range of stakeholders
- Bring curiosity and initiative to continuously improve tools, processes, and analytical quality
What you bring
- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance, Econometrics, or related discipline. CFA/FRM or actuarial qualification is a plus.
- 3+ years in Investment Management, Actuarial, Capital Management, Risk management, or comparable quantitative roles
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, investment strategies, asset classes, and market risk drivers
- Familiarity with solvency and capital frameworks
- Programming skills (e.g., Python, R, Databricks) considered a strong plus
- Ability to take ownership of analyses end to end and work autonomously, with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex analyses into business insights
- Comfortable prioritizing and managing multiple demands
- Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn
